[Ponte Alto] Mini Tourney Results...

First Mini Tourney,
The mini tourney held at Stierbachs Tuesday night practice went very
smoothly.  The tourney had 2 youth fighters, 5 Rapier Fighters, and 10
Heavy Fighters.

Firstly thank you to the Baron and Baroness of Stierbach for hosting
the tourney, to the Baron and Baroness of Ponte-Alto for their
invaluable help and support, to everyone who donated prizes, to the
MOL’s who made for a fine tuned well organized list, to everyone who
helped marshal and make this a safe as well as fun tourney, and to
everyone who helped organize the mini tourney.  Its success is directly
due to the participation of everyone.

The youth list was run by his Excellency Flaithri, since there were
only two fighters the baron ran a tourney that was educational and fun
for both of them.   Both girls fought well and were both awarded
prizes.

His Excellency Flaithri also ran the Rapier list.  This was a grueling
tourney where each fighter had to hold the field against all the other
fighters in turn.  Daniel the owner of the Fencing School where the
Stierbach practice is held was the winner.  Michal Wymarc was second
and also was presented the award for chivalry by her Excellency
Rohnwyn.

The heavy list was run by his Excellency Jurgen.  This was a standard
double elimination quick list.  Since there were 3 finalists, a round
robin was fought to determine the winner.  Ragnar Ribcracker won the
heavy tourney, and her Excellency  Flora awarded Baron Turgeis the
award for chivalry.
