Pray attend, all students of the Arte of Defense.

I, Baron Marcellus Capoziello da Napoli and my brother Provosts, Lord
Kynnyth Pyke and Lord Percival Aldridge, do hereby find Lord Geoffrey ap
Clwyd to be worthy of elevation to the rank of Free Scholar within the
Academie d'Espee. All members of the Academie and friends of rapier in
Atlantia are invited to attend the playing of Lord Geoffrey's Free
Scholar Prize at the Coronation of Michael and Seonaid on the First Day
of April, in the lovely Canton of River's Point.

Lord Geoffrey has served the rapier community for over three years as a
doughty and noble fighter, both in tournament and in melees. He has
served the Barony of Ponte Alto as Rapier Marshal for over two years,
giving of his time to instruct those newer to our Arte, and has also
served a term as its Rapier Champion. He has travelled the length and
breadth of Atlantia and beyond in service to TRM as guard of their
person and loyal warrior on the field of battle. His martial skills
also extend to the heavy field, where he is an authorized Siege
Engineer, and has assisted in increasing the might of the Atlantian Army
by helping build siege engines and training other fighters in their use.
He is also practiced in the gentler arts, having some skill at
woodworking, brewing of cordials (a most noble endeavour!), and the
research of maritime history.

The Playing of the Prize shall commence shortly after the First Court of
Michael and Seonaid. Lord Geoffrey will first face a member of the
Order of the White Scarf, followed by all Free Scholars present. Time
permitting, other bouts will be entertained until such time as the field
is required for the Tournament.

Yours in Service,

Baron Marcellus Capoziello da Napoli, Provost
