Just an FYI:
This group, founded by Brion Thornbird ap Rhys, Earl &
Knight, OL, aka Brian Price, is still active in the
SCA and has made great strides in promoting historical
combat applications into the SCA combat rules set.

There is also a group in the East Kingdom called "St.
Michaels" that has promoted a more historical outlook
to SCA combat. They are the guys that have put on the
"Historic Combat Series" at Pennsic for a few years
now.

The Oldcastle combat forms have a considerable amount
of similarities to the concepts and actions of George
Silver's work in the late 16th century.
When someone comes across a roadblock, they should
adapt and overcome. To do so, all one needs to do is
keep an open mind.
