[Ponte Alto] Events with Food and the SCA

Rosa M. here, with a friendly reminder to observe good hygiene practices with the foods you make and bring to share at events!  easy stuff makes a big difference: wash your hands before preparing food or touching it, and make sure that items that may spoil will stay cold (or hot) enough with ice or sterno cans.  And last but not least - handle all food on the table with implements rather than your hands, if there is even a remote chance that you may touch food you are not going to eat and that may end up in someone else's mouth!  This is the season for great fun and picnics - let's not spoil it by letting anyone get food poisoining!

I like to try to recreate the good parts of the Middle Ages, and not the pestilences :)
