Noble Friends,

On St. George's Day (23 April), four raven chicks began hatching at the
Tower of London. These are the first ravens born at the Tower in 30 years.
The proud parents are Huginn and Muninn, according to Yeoman Warder and
Ravenmaster Chris Skaife.

Text and photos of the the birds and Ravenmaster Skaife can be viewed at
https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-london-48308322 .

One raven chick now remains at the Tower, and will eventually join the
official flock of resident birds. The other chicks are being raised at a
pub in Suffolk. A companion video story explaining this is found at
https://www.bbc.com/news/av/uk-england-suffolk-48368933/tower-of-london-ravens-to-be-raised-in-suffolk-pub
.

Yours Aye,

Mungo Napier, Laird of Mallard Lodge 🦆
