[MR] BBC: Scotland's First Honorary Vexillologist

Noble Friends, Especially Heralds and Fellow Scots,

According to a report on the BBC, the Lord Lyon of Scotland (The Chief
Scottish Herald) has just appointed Phillip Tibbetts as Scotland's first
Honorary Vexillologist.

"What's a vexillologist?" you ask. An expert on flags. Mr. Tibbetts has for
a number of years offered his services to help local communities design
their own flags, and to have the flags officially recognized and registered.
