[MR] BBC: Late Medieval Brooch to be Auctioned

Noble Friends,

Today the BBC reports on the pending sale of a medieval brooch thought 
to have belonged to Baroness Katherine Hastings of Kirby Muxloe Castle. 
It was probably given to the Baroness by her husband William Hastings, 
who was later topped by Richard III. The brooch was found by a metal 
detectorist, but no museum came forward to purchase the item.
