Join us on June 4, 2016 at 11 am EST in Warrenton Virginia for the monthly
Baronial Arts and Sciences gathering!
June's gathering will feature Lady Arnbjorg teaching Viking Wire Weaving!

There is plenty of room, though an allergy alert, there are cats so please
take any needed medications. Also, there will be a potluck after so as
usual, when bringing for potluck, please remember to mark ingredients for
those who may have allergies. Feel free to bring other A&S things you are
working on as well)

Directions:  Take your best route to Rt 29.  If coming from the north turn
left onto Baldwin st. and if coming from the south turn right onto Baldwin
st.  Take the 1st right onto Mill Valley Dr.  Take the 4th right onto
Jamisons Farm Dr.  It will be the 4th house on the left, you will see a red
suburban in the driveway.
Parking: Try to park in the driveway, and when that is full park along the
side of the road and please try not to block other driveways.
June 18th Stierbach's Baronial Birthday!

Arts & Sciences Activities:
1. Dirty Dozen - Make 12 of anything that could possibly be given away as
largess by our Baron and Baroness. Winner gets one of each and the rest go
to the Barony. The main theme for this is Stierbach so feel free to use the
colors and award heradlry of Stierbach, however, things generalized to
Atlantia are also more than welcome. There will be no need for
documentation on this one, and it is anonymous populace judging
2. Second Competition: A Cavalcade of Hats! Take a traditional hat and
spice it up for the Barony’s Birthday! There will be three top prizes:
Populace Choice, Majesties’ Choice, and Overall (Documentation will play a
part in the overall). Please bring your documentation.
3. Static Display. For those who would like to have their work displayed
but not entered into a contest, there will also be a display.
4. There will be 4 Arts and Sciences classes at the Baronial Birthday!
(They'll also be worth University Credit for the students....)
11-12 - Lady Amie Sparrow will be teaching the making of Tudor hats
(contact her for info on the kits). There will be a class limit so sign up
early!
12 - 2 - Lady Helene will teach dance! Come put on your dancing shoes and
learn that you don't really have two left feet!
2:30 - 3:30 - Master Ii will be teaching a class outside (watch this space
for more details!)
2 - 3 - Lady Marsali will teach making hats for your drinks to keep bugs
and dust out! There will also be a limit on this one due to kits.
