Noble Friends,

Today BBC Travel has in interesting illustrated story about Bardsey
Island, a small rock off the coast of Wales. The story is about the
island as it is now, but it makes reference to Bardsey as the "Island of
20,000 Saints". During the dark and middle ages Bardsey was considered
to be extremely holy, and was the graveyard for countless people who
came here to die and be buried in its sacred soil. The current residents
say you can't dig anywhere without finding a body:

Here is more history of the Island:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bardsey_Island . An illustrated history
page is maintained by the Barsdey Island Trust:

Yours Aye,

Lord Mungo Napier, That Crazy Scot
