Attention Musicians: Do you play an instrument? Is it one you can take
camping? Want to come play some dance music with a great new band at War of
the Wings?

The staff at War of the Wings has organized a whole new program for a
pick-up band for the European dance music for the balls on Friday and
Saturday nights.

The band will rehearse on Friday and Saturday afternoons under the
direction of a professional music teacher and ensemble director using the
tried and true
sheet music from the Pennsic Pile.  Dance music is a relatively easy way to
get started in playing period music if you've never done it before because
many of the
phrases are short, simple, and repeat. We need about 5 more musicians to
sign up, so please consider joining the band!
