CALLING ALL GOOD GENTLES OF THE SOCIETY!

The Barony of Ayrton is proud to host the Known World Costuming
Symposium and the Known World Academy of the Rapier!

Taking place November 13-November 15 in the northern Chicago suburbs,
KWAR/KWCS will feature multiple tracks of instruction in rapier and
costuming, with classes by instructors from throughout the SCA.

KWAR instructors include Master Joseph Blayde, Don Kevin of the West,
Warder Adrian Flechyr, Master Christian Fournier, and Warder Lisabetta
von Atzinger.

Teaching at KWCS, we have Juliana Peri Da Novellara, Jael Bent Ari,
THL Annette van Leuven, and Mistress Moira McGillavrey, and more!

All of this will be occurring at the gracious Doubletree Hotel

Their most Fearsome Majesties of the Midrealm will be holding Court in
the evening, including conveying the honor of Baron and Baroness of
Ayerton upon the new nobility.

We have SHUTTLE SERVICE for KWAR and KWCS, TO AND FROM THE HOTEL AND
O’HARE AIRPORT. (1)

There will be THREE SHUTTLE RUNS from O’Hare to the KWAR/KWCS hotel on
Friday, November 13, and THREE SHUTTLE RUNS from the KWAR/KWCS hotel
to O’Hare on Sunday, November 15. Cost is $25/person/trip. It is $50
for a trip to the hotel, and to return to the airport. This compares
to an estimated $60 one-way in a private taxi.
