[MR] Memorial Day

Every war has had its victims who came home looking healthy but in sore
need of help. I lost mine - Baron Temur - in January of this year. He had
stories from Vietnam that he happily shared and others he would not even
share with me. Fortunately the U.S. is finally recognizing those
after-effects and doing something for our soldiers and their support troops
that are as easily affected simply because they are there - supporting
those troops.
I'm as happy to thank a living soldier whose job was working in the
motor pool as I am the guy carrying the gun, because he might be the very
reason a jeep was able to make it into the hills of Vietnam or the desert
of Iraq to pull those fighting men or women to safety. You don't have to
carry a rifle to get PTSD or shell-shock - you just have to have been there.

Do what you can to support our members of all our armed forces - celebrate
Memorial Day whatever way you want but celebrate it for Our troops
sake...They deserve that and much, much more.
