Dear friends of The Barony of Raven's Cove, I apologize for the lateness of this thank you, but mundane life has kept me from my computer for a few days. Please forgive me. We would like to take a moment to thank all those who attended the first birthday of the Barony of Raven's Cove. As they often say in the mundane world "We know that you had many choices for events and are happy that you chose to fly with the Raven!" We hope that you had as much fun as we did. Our new site was everything we had hoped for, the weather held cool and dry (a miracle) and the feast and fun were all overflowing! We know that many of you traveled far to attend and for that, we are deeply humbled. It shows the great love that we all have for each other that we would choose to drive 2-3 hours and more to attend a small event. We are truly thankful for all our friends. For our staff - What can we say but - Wow! The site worked so well, the Baroness's Tea was awesome, and the feast - we have never had corned beef so tender. Our only wish was for leftovers. Oh well, maybe next time. Our dear cousin, Baroness Sine ni Dheaghaidh of Sacred Stone was so kind to grace us with her presence and we had such fun "discussing" the war at length. Much laughter and side-long looks took place but all in the spirit of fellowship. We promise more as we get closer to the war and hope that everyone will attend. We wish we could thank each person individually, but we have so many friends and great staff that it would surely overtax this system. Please know that our birthday celebration was everything that we could have asked for! We are truly blessed. Yours in appreciation, Torquil KatharineBaron Baroness The Barony of Raven's Cove
