Bride of the Hawkwood Howl
October 21- 23, 2011
*Hosted by the Barony of Hawkwood in Asheville, N.C.*
The zombie outbreak having been quelled by valiant warriors gathered from
near and far, Hawkwood has spent the year rebuilding. To celebrate the
vanquished zombie threat that has darkened our autumn celebrations in years
past, we open our list field to those who would gather and partake in feats
of arms; we open our halls for the bards and the artists; and we make merry
in a glorious feast.
Martial Activities: Armoured Fighting starts with a Double Elimination
Tournament, which will be followed by a "No Shield" Tourney, sponsored by
House Askoldssonn. Rapier will have a Dice Tournament, followed by a
Neverending Melee.
Arts & Sciences Activities: Artisans should prepare for a variety of
competitions to test their talents. Info on those competitions can be found
at our website.
