   I propose rather than changing all the existing excepted well established time honored ranks, we create a NEW badge for all people with less than a year in society. That way we can all reconize the MOST important members of the kingdom, the new comer. And then we can give all the direction and assistance needed to insure that they have a good time and feel inclined to continue in the SCA. Perhaps the reason that some feel that there are "too many" cornets out there is that the egotists that make up the leadership of the kingdom run off more new members that there are members with coronets.
