Greetings to the lists,
Drums of War is right around the corner June 17-19th at Elchenburg in Boonville, NC.  If you pre-reg, you can save some money and avoid the long lines at troll.
 
This event will have something for everyone. Heavy fighting, rapier fighting, archery and thrown weapons, equestrian, siege demo, and don't forget the Fighter Fashion Show.  You won't want to miss that on Sat. morning.  There will be prizes for the fiercest and most awesome winners.
This is all about having fun and looking good.
 
Friday night is the Performer's Revel in the castle, with music, drumming, dance, bardic, and it will be lit like it was for WoW.  So bring your drums and musical instruments. Saturday night is Dancing Under the Stars for Charity.  Bring a non-persishable food item and come learn the courtly art of period dance or just enjoy food, drink and the company of friends.  No dancing talent required.
 
 There will be a Heraldic Banner Competition, a Brewing Competition and a Poetry Competition.  There will be prizes for each competiton. The Baronial Heavy, Youth Heavy, Rapier, Equestrian and Brewing Champion will be chosen.   Brewers bring your favorite brew and enter in one of the categories.
 
There will be several classes, children's activities,  a Newcomer's Reception with a door prize, 
All for just $10.00 if you pre-register, $12 at the door for members and add the necessary additional $5 for non-members.  
 
So mark the date on your calendar.  We will see you at Drums of War and don't forget to send
