Good Gentles,
Might I suggest that this thread be deleted from the Merry Rose, as somehow,
it was started on another list, that yes, is ALL ABOUT archery.

It is however, not prudent to have this discussion, which by the way is the
MIDDLE of a 20 odd threads thrown to the Merry Rose, as not having the full
spectrum of the discussion sounds very one sided and could be and obviously
is being taken derogatorily towards other interests in the SCA.

We all attend events for our personal agenda, whether it be a Heavy
Tournament/Melee, the Arts & Sciences classes and/or display, to get our
"fix" of needing to help out somewhere, Rapier tournaments, Archery
tournaments, or just to dress up in pretty clothes and hang out with our
friends.

That being said, it does not make one activity, more important than any
other. It is the focus of the event determined by the hosting group and
autocrat that determines this.

Please go about your day, find a stranger to give a smile to, hug an archer,
feed a fighter, Support your SCA Merchants go shopping, volunteer to help
out.

In Service,
Lady Anne Rose Smythe
Apprentice to Sigrid Briansdotter, OL
