or, clearly, "its all about the archery".  which, by the way, is fine.  if
the sca is totally one sided for someone and they have no interest beyond
that activity thats fine, really.  and, im sure thats the case for some
folks.  leaving an event because archery got canceled is a great example of
that.  trying to take a jab at one of the majority activities by stating
"its all about the fighting" may, however, backfire in trying to make a
point.  in this hypothetical situation it wasnt the fighting communities
responsibility nor problem that archery got canceled.

Ah, you see the glass half-full. I see it as half-empty. I hope you are 
right if this ever comes to pass, but I expect it would end otherwise. 
If it did, I think we should make a lot of noise and demand refunds, but 
the Powers That Be (PTB) are very likely to say, "Too bad, but it was 
their choice, and there's nothing we can do about it now", perhaps 
sending a mild "tsk, tsk" to the autocrat. Remember, "It's all about the 
fighting."
