[MR] comps

I actually agree with Your Grace Simone on this one. I've autocratted small
events and fairly large events - some I worked on for years before the first
person stepped through the gate - and I paid to attend.

I've also held various other positions on event staff, and can promise you
that when I ran the A&S competitions at SSBB felt as if I had worked harder
in that single day than I had during the entire event when I was event
steward of War of the Wings. (I sure was more tired!! :) And I paid to
attend both events, and never thought twice about it.

Determining who on staff is working 'hard enough' to warrant comping is a
hard line to determine and therefore I agree that everyone on staff pays to
get in. Autocrat on down. Keeps it simple.

As for the Royals - they get comped. I have seen first hand on more than
one occasion now how much time, energy, and even money the Royals put out to
have the honor of being TRM/TRH/Baronage - over and above any travel funds.
While they are wearing the 'hat' they should have the privilege of not
having to pay to walk through the gate at any event in Their lands.
Besides - I bet that Their presence at the event alone got at least one
more person to attend the event - if not a dozen! And events are always
enhanced by Their presence. If ,as a Royal, you still feel the need to
contribute monetarily to the event - I bet the sponsorship of some prizes or
even the donation of some toilet paper would be greatly appreciated!
