[MR] Fixing food vessels

Okay,since we are on the subject of fixing food vessels and whatnot, maybe someone could help me with a problem I have with a leaky teapot.
I love my teapot too much to get rid of it. It's a funky Michael Graves design and I adore it. And it's perfectly watertight while it's cold.
However, it springs a minute, invisible leak in what I presume is the bottom seam when you heat it up. You see the problem.
I am pretty sure it's probably made of steel.
Is there any help for my beloved teapot?
