I know there's a stretch of US 460 that's like that, and there are "safety
corridors" and they do mean business there... but I'lve lived in VA my
entire life and I travel 8 miles over the limit (usually more) every day for
about 70 miles roundtrip and as long as you're with the flow of traffic and
it's not an "enforcement weekend" it's usually not a problem...
Now.. add an out of state plate to the mix, and all bets are off. A lot of
the little towns and etc. use speedtraps as a way to supplement their ever
dwindling coffers.
Rhiannon (the last ticket I got in VA.. or anywhere was 12 years ago and
that one I deserved!)
