> According to a friend of mine in Ansteorra, they have a peerage for rapier and a cadet program much the same as the Knights have a Squire program. They are not the only ones who do this. 

There is no rapier peerage in Ansteorra (where I lived until December
2007), nor in any of the other Kingdoms. Peerages are defined by the BoD
and are Society-wide.

> West, Outland, Northshield, Ansteorra, Midrealms all have Dons. This being said, why can't we even consider having a peerage for Atlantia? I am not a rapier fighter but it makes sense.

Dons, in all the Kingdoms in which I have seen them, are a grant level
award. Their regalia is traditionally the white scarf, the same as the
Atlantian grant-level rapier award. Many kingdoms do have Don-Cadet
relationships that are analogous to Knight-Squire relationships, but not
all do. Atlantia chose to go the route of an Academie of Defense, rather
than having individual students. I understand that this tradition is not
firmly followed in all instances, though I may be mistaken.
