[MR] Clarification from Her Highness

Your Highness,

Thank you for your clarification and transparency on the matter at hand.

As to this statement made by Lord Gorm:
"It also concerns me that I have seen these petitions being circulated in a
very targeted manor. I have seen a petition carrier walk past three Peers,
to approach a 4th and get a signature"

I did take it upon myself to make the petition available and even approach
directly some of your Peers at the most recent session of University of
Atlantia (2/7 in Richmond VA). I can see how Lord Gorm may have seen this as
targeting certain Peers and not others, when in fact it was an attempt to
ensure every Peer had the opportunity to respond as easily as possible. If I
walked past three Peers to approach a fourth, I assure you it was because I
had already seen #1 & #3 fill out the petition, and I did not wish to
disturb #2's conversation and instead caught them later. No one was avoided
and no one was refused. I also did not try to convince anyone to agree or
disagree with me, but instead handed them the clipboard and allowed them to
slide their answer into the provided folder without examination. For those
who did not have the time to fill out the petition right then, they were
welcome to take the form and mail it to Their Highnesses at their leisure.
If I did miss anyone at University, you have my abject apologies.

After forgetting to deliver the collected petitions to Their Highnesses at
Ymir, I placed the envelope of still unexamined responses in the mail to
Them this Monday morning.

I know that Master Aedan took a similar action of collecting responses at
Ice Castles several weeks prior to my circulation. I think I can speak for
him when I say that we were merely attempting to help our Crown and Heirs
get as many responses of any nature, not just the sides we ally with.

In service,
Mistress Genevieve d'Aquitaine
