[MR] A&S Judging Question

Greetings!

I've done exactly as Maitresse Ysolt suggests for the first A&S I ever
entered, and won that A&S. So I think it really depends on the *judges* at
any particular A&S Comp.

So perhaps doing both might be the answer.

I've done that and been told it's not sufficient. I've done the longer,
more detailed documentation and been told that it's too much, the judges
don't have time to read it. It gets to be very frustrating, because
obviously no one is happy with any one way of doing it!

Perhaps, the answer would be to do a 'summary page' in front of the rest
of the info? Though that still doesn't resolve the issue of questions
written on the judging sheet that are answered in the documentation.

I suppose we just keep plugging and hope that someday it gets read!

From what you have written I assume that you have very detailed and
long documentation. As a person who gets her arm twisted to judge
occasionally, I really appreciate what in some academic circles is
called an abstract of the documentation. This is about a one page
"hitting the high points" summary. Judges often do not have time to
really do justice to the full documentation. So it is a real help to
have this time saver. All the pictures and references are extra and with
the full document.

Does this help?
