I spoke to the ranger at the Boy Scout camp in Stanly
county, He did not give a lot of sites and no dates,
and  he clearly did not want to be pressed for
specifics and I did not want him put on the defensive,
but his wife told me that he is related to some of the
other rangers, so you have to know they get together
and talk. Now, I believe that some of this is
exaggeration, but it doesn't matter now.  It only
takes a small thing to become a big thing and all
anyone has to do to refuse to rent to us is have the
PERCEPTION that we are a lot of trouble.  Remember
that the typical consumer tells 8 people of a bad
experience and one person of a good experience.  In
the future I will ask people to sign a letter that the
site was left clean and in order.
