Traffic in the FedroSplat has gotten to the point where, on a Friday, on 
has to leave well before noon to escape without massive delays. That means 
taking an entire day off for most folks.

Rebecca, please don't assume that I personally don't want to make the 
trip. I have other commitments which I cannot avoid on that day, and even 
if Unevent were being hosted by Stierbach or Ponte Alto I wouldn't be able 
to go this year. Which is too bad, because I *like* going to Unevent. 
(Does that make me more weird than most?)

To address your question: IIRC, Stierbach put in a bid for Unevent last 
year, which was not accepted. We've hosted one major kingdom-level event 
in the past two years and are part of a bid for one next year.
