Wow.. it sounds like tempers are getting the best of us all on this thread.

There are some who have to make a longer trip than others, there's no
deny that. But those making the long trek won't be the ones to always
make the trip. Those that do the scheduling take all of this into
consideration.

While I am sorry that it makes taking time off of work for some, that
is the price one must pay to be an officer. If that wasn't what you
had planned when you decided to seek the office, again, I'm sorry; but
that is how it is. That's the plain truth of it.

There is traffic practically everywhere you go during the Holiday
Season; and we all have to live with it. Gorm's comments about 2-95
are definitely helpful getting around Richmond (there is a pretty
tall, neat bridge on that trek, but it's still an okay drive).

It's up to everyone to decide whether or not to attend Unevent. If
you can go, wonderful! If you can't, hopefully you can send someone
in your stead; but if not, the world will not end and things will go
on. There are ways to find out what happened in the meetings you
miss.

I have a paper due, a Math test to retake and a house to get ready for
the Holidays. I'm not an officer, but there is a meeting I could (and
should) attend; but I have decided that I need that day; so I'm not
going.

I know this is a hot-button issue, but snapping at each other isn't
going to help the conversation.
