De Montfort Open Barn in Hidden Mountain

Come and enjoy a day of all things horsey!

All are invited to come and enjoy a day of fun at the de Montfort barn!  We 
will be discussing Mounted Warrior games and the weapons used. Later in the 
afternoon we will be making these weapons and if interested please bring the 
supplies listed below. There also will be help available with making horse 
barding.

The evening plans include a potluck dinner and merry making. The resident 
Mountain Troll has been busy pushing trees down again and is going to light 
one of his see-from-space bonfires weather permitting.



11am-2pm Mounted Warrior games

3-5pm Making weapons and barding

6pm Potluck dinner- please bring your favorite covered dish

7pm Bonfire and Fighter discussion by torchlight

9pmdrumming-please bring your favorite drink, our favorite bards, Isabella 
and Jane will be singing and giggling for us this eve

Limited space is available for overnighters<both people and horses. Please 
call ahead.



Quintain Lance- 8-10ft in length, min. 1 ¼ " in diameter. Either wooden 
dowel or rattan is currently being used in Atlantia. 1 tennis ball, duct 
tape

Maces & Batons- personal sword length, ¾' pvc, plumbers foam wrap the same 
length, tennis ball or some equal type foam for tip, duct tape

Pig Lance-6-10ft in length, min 1" in diameter, save last 2' for tip taper, 
ex-large nail for tip
