[MR] A humble request.... Please trim responses

Tristan,

That is a personal opinion on gmail. I have used a variety of email programs
both personally and through employment and every program has their issues,
there is no perfect program. People will use an email program that is
comfortable to them for personal use, this should not be dictated by others
for any reason.

The most considerate thing to do would be to trim your posts!

Thanks!

Katharine

I would gladly offer invites to whoever needs gmail. All competitors
currently have inferior products. I understand the switching cost can be an
issue. Like taking the time for transferring address book etc. My point is
digest format is obsolete given the technology for sorting and filing
available in most clients like Eudora, Outlook, Pegasus, and Gmail.
Reminding the masses you still use a frustrating method of email gathering
should be met with why aren't you using something better? This should push
people into upgrading to a better technology not digging in their heels in
to shadow a self made problem. There are free options out there. Why
continually nag about something you can solve yourself?
