Atlantia HAS the ability currently to have a centralized listing, but
rarely do groups take advantage of it. The kingdom chronicler's policy
states:

"6.5.2 All registered events may have the following minimum
information printed in the Event Specifics section of The Acorn up to
**one** **year** in advance, space permitting: Event name, date(s),
group holding event, location of event (City and State), Autocrat's name
(both SCA and mundane), address, phone number, email address, type of
fighting activities, site restrictions, and a **web** **site**
**address**. Any other information desired to be published in advance of
the flyer may be purchased at the advertising rates." [emphasis mine]

Once a group has the minimum amount of information to register an event,
they can register it (not everything needs to be ready at that point),
and set up a website to be included in the Acorn up to a *year* in
advance. This is plenty of time!

Groups are reserving sites earlier and earlier (we have to, in order to
GET them), and (in my experience) the site is usually the sticking
point. Why not also register your event (and website) with Kingdom ASAP
and take advantage of this benefit?
