[MR] Trimming your posts

Good Gentles All,
I have read with interest the discussion on period vs. modern at events, but
will not go into my opinions on this in this missive.

What I would ask is that, when you respond to a post, you trim all of the
unnecessary parts from the post to which you are responding.  Some of the
messages I saw in this stream included fourth and fifth generation messages,
when all that was needed was the part to which you were responding.

This is important for everyone, but even more so for those of us who
subscribe to the Merry Rose in digest form...
