No longer true.  If anyone really wants to go look up
the actual code sections (I don't remember it
offhand)Lexis.com, the company that publishes state &
federal statute in book form, has a searchable website
for MD. There are only 2 specific passages that deal
with consensual sexual activity (ie, does not cover
rape & child molestation) for MD, and they were for
oral sex.  However, circa 1992 IIRC these were deemed
unconstitutional and unenforceable by further
legislature. Not stricken from the books, so a repeal
of the additional law could make them enforceable
again in the future, but not currently active.  OTOH,
if you want to talk about Virginia....

Getting back onto the original topic, does the NC law
specifically state whether this is a felony or
misdemeanor, & what penalties could be imposed? And
are there any prior court cases that set precedence on
the topic?
