Greetings all,

I was curious what those on this list think about the way that Revocation and
Denial of Membership (R&D) is handled by the BoD. In the Jan 2002 meeting, Count
(twice) Aveloc of AnTir was issued an R&D from the board. This R&D, if nothing
else, has brought about a lot of discussion in NW concerning due process,
rights, and the power of the BoD and whether or not such drastic punishment
should have been handed down to Count Aveloc, aka Harvey Palmer. There is a
website provided by Count Aveloc and his lady, Countess Mahliqa at
http://scaoubliette.com/. There is also a petition to suggest to the BoD that
they overturn this decision and make certain reformation in the way they handle
things. This is being discussed on the AnTir lists, the Rialto and other
assorted lists, and I was wondering what Atlantians think.
