As a marshal, I think this is why issues between combattants
should be addressed *as they happen, with the people directly involved*.
Misunderstandings about calibration or behavior on the field should not be
allowed to escalate through gossip to the point where they could be
considered grounds for banishment. If something like this is done to
somebody, the BoD had better be darned sure he deserves it.
I don't know how many of these incidents happenned or how many are
exagerations. If the allegations are true, I could understand a revocation of
his authorization. I don't have enough information to know whether banishment
was justified. That would hinge more on whether he understood what was
wrong with his behavior or making an effort to change, and whether the
behavioral patterns were consistent as opposed to a few isolated
instances.
