I am not suggesting that we be isolationists, but the fact is that unless any of us here personally know the individuals involved (that means Aveloc and those making accusations) and/or have firsthand information on the events in question, such as being witnesses or having copies of the documents, letters, court case file numbers and board proceedings, that we really have no way of making a fair judgement of either side. And I fail to see how a discussion on this mail list will help him or the BoD or any of his alleged victims. It will make us aware of problems with corpora & corporate policies for future incidents, yes, but so far all I have seen is people taking one side or the other, expressing opinions, again with little first hand knowledge of the specific incidents in question, and members of the populace getting angered over the persons in question and not the procedures.

The procedures, yes. The person, no. As I discussed with one gentle, the BoD is at the top of any complaint/appeals process inside the SCA Inc., as is the case with most clubs and companies. Anyone is entitled to take that appeal to the next logical step and file a case with the court system, which has jurisdiction over the SCA Inc.
