[MR] GULF WARS XXI!!!!!

Yes, it is that time again! Time to start thinking about Gulf War. Their
Majesties have handed me the reigns for this event once again. I have had
the pleasure to be Atlantia's Landcrat/ Liaison for the past two years and
wile last year was better than the year before, I think that we can make
GREAT improvements on last year, and even now, I am working on plans with
the War Staff to ensure that Atlantia has the best camp possible. The plan
this year is to have a much more organized camp ( I will be there the ENTIRE
war from Sunday until Sunday). WE are looking at ways to make sure that the
land is allocated better that we have enough space and that Atlantia's space
is well defined. We hope to bring down the gates we had at Pennsic this year
and are looking at having sheet walls to surround the encampment.
As I begin to get organized, I would welcome any feedback anyone has who was
there last year (please respond privately, no need to clog the list). We are
looking at the same area again this year, but with more space added. The A
and S tents will be moved elsewhere and we will take over that space as
well.
I will soon be asking for info from everyone and I will be sending out
reminders of pre-registration deadlines, so be on the look out!
Finally, I am looking for a deputy Land-crat. This person will be very
involved in the planning and organization process and needs to plan to be
able to be on site with me the Sunday before it starts ( the War staff is
requiring that we have someone on site on that Sunday ). You don't have to
live anywhere near me, but access to e-mail is a must, also a knowledge of
Excel. I need to have e-mails from anyone interested in fulfilling this
position by October 1st.
