[MR] Storvik Baronial Championships

Lords and Ladies of Fair Atlantia,
     Here is the update to the Baronial Championships of Storvik.

For the Heavy Fighters:
As Storvik values its army, Her Excellency has deemed it appropriate to
fight a Warlord tournament to determine her Baronial Champion, so
fighters
may display their prowess at tactics as well as combat.  Fighters will
be
paired off for fights with the victor becoming the captain of the team
consisting of the two fighters.  Then the teams will be paired with the
victorious team's captain in command.  The tournament will continue
until
two teams remain.  The victorious captain is the winner of the
tournament,
while Her Excellency will select her champion from the field as the
fighter
who impresses her most.


For the Artisan

Class Schedule (all classes on Saturday):

Lampworking, Open Torch 11:00-4:00 (cleanup/restore tables for feast
after 4:00).
Taught by Storvki Lampworkers Demos and Instructions will be given on
both a basic and more advanced level. 



Pewter Casting, All day Instruction and Play time taught by Countess
Kyneburh Boithuile. 



Primitive Fire Starting, 3:00 pm Taught by Joseph Schilling, how to
start a fire when you don't have a match, or what they would have done
in period. This class will take place at the fire pit. 



Basic firebuilding for SCA adventures 4:00 pm Taught by Lord Sylvanus
Perrin. This is a hand's on class that will teach you how to turn a
pile of sticks into a glowing, warm campfire without resorting to
gasoline and lighter fluid. We'll cover laying out, starting, and
maintaining a fire. I'll even let you in on some tricks for getting a
fire going in foul weather. Since you'll be building and lighting a
fire, please wear natural fibers. This class will take place at the
fire pit. 

For the Rapier fighters

	The tournament to determine Storvik's Baronial Champion will be a
triple elimination progressive weapons tournament.  Melee scenerios
sponsored by the Atlantian Trading Company will follow the tournament.
