]]Not sure of the reasoning for selecting the Order Name, but it is true that
the Manatee was chosen as Count Kane's "Totem Animal."

]]And not to slight Count Kane's memory, but Triton is not inclined to
attempt to register Manatee as a heraldic title.

]]Actually, it's four. You missed Conch.

]]I have noted those heraldic titles that have been reserved for the use of
individual Heralds that I know of and removed from the list those titles that
were released.
> Albatross Pursuivant
> *Argent Snail Herald
]]Argent Snail is the Personal Title for Mistress Jaelle of Armida,
transferred to her Dec '99.

]]Azure Decrescent is the Personal Title for Mistress Rhiannon ui Neill.

]]I would recommend against registering Order Names based on the Personal
Titles. Bonus points for any who can match the other titles with the group
or individual it is intended for.

For the sake of information, here are all the currently registered Order
Names in Atlantia. Heraldic cross titles are marked with '+.'
Academie d'Espee (Closed with the acceptance of the White Scarf Treaty, all
members of this Order were inducted into the Order of the White Scarf
4/20/96, registered October '93 via Atlantia)
Fountain (? no reference in the OP, registered April '82 via Laurel)
+Golden Dolphin (for excellence in service, registered April '81 via Atlantia)
Herring (for extraordinary achievement as an autocrat, registered April '81
via Laurel)
+Hippocampus (for the excellence in service and leadership of older children,

only be given once per reign, registered May '94 via Atlantia)

Silver Needle (for costuming - Closed, registered March '82 via Atlantia)
Undine (for excellence in service to the Queen, registered April '81 via
Laurel)
Yew Bow (for excellence in archery, registered March '94 via Atlantia)
]]Note: the Shark's Tooth is not registered, the King's Award of Excellence
is probably too generic to register, and Saint Aiden was submitted for
registration at Atlantian 20 Year Celebration.

]]Probably not, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to prepare for the future.

]]Actually, that's the seal for the Atlantian College of Heralds. I could
probably use it to validate my 'Verum Est' on scrolls or for private letters
I need to send. And before anyone offers, I've already got a very lovely
brass signet ring.
