[MR] Donating Blood - Or Platelets!

I used to do a lot of plasma donations some time ago, so my info may
be dated.
Plasma donation is usally a paid thing. Patients can donate up to
twice in any given 7-day period. They extract whole blood, spin the
plasma out, and return the reb blood mixed with saline.
