Hello all,

Ld. Mungo, it occurs to me that cutting down a longer Flemish string and
then using a bowyer's knot also might be an appropriate solution for these
shorter and lighter youth bows.

Baron CoG, excellent advice regarding keeping bows in the shade. I also
have witnessed a strung fiberglass recurve bow sitting on a rack partially
in the sun that spontaneously delaminated at the point where the sun heated
it unevenly.
