Fen, Im not sure what you mean about transparent? I think you know I speak
honestly in my responses so this should be no different. I think those who
shot it last year would actually say we as a team had fun, I know I did. Our
practice was run by myself and Ghijskijn and those that performed and made
the practices were added to the team. This year being teamed with the East,
things might be a bit different just because of their dynamic. Ghijskin will
run our practices again and between him and myself we will decide our team,
period. As far as legacy slots go, the same rule applies as I put in place
last year, the only legacy slot goes to our current Kingdom champion, other
than that everyone else needs to earn their slot.

So if you can live with this let me know and I will add you or simply pass
if you wish.

In Service,

Janyn

Sorry to do this, but I have to ask (and will not engage in debate or
trashing our allies) but:

1) will the tryouts be transparent?

2) are they getting rid of legacy slots?

If both answers are yes, then I'll participate. Else, I will humbly assist
where needed as a Marshal or somesuch.

Cheers

Fen

Good morning everyone, after talking with my counter-parts in the East and
Mid it looks like we will have the same amount of slots per side again this
year for the Champions shoot (40). With that said I would encourage all of
you no matter what ranking you are to apply and come to the practices for
the team. The practices this year will be Saturday 27 July after the St.
Sebastians shoot and Sunday 28 July. You will need to be at both of them to
be considered for the team.

I just want to point out a few things for those that have never been through
this before. Final decisions will most likely be made in the closing hours
of practice. Please dont take them personally, the teams need to be
populated with those that can deliver the best results for war points. Lord
Ghijskijn Van den Vaerst
<http://op.atlantia.sca.org/op_ind.php?atlantian_id=4238> will be helping
me this year run the shoot so he will be conducting the practice sessions.
Anyone who wishes to be part of the team please send me your name and I will
add it to the list and pass the list to Lord Ghijskijn to work from.

Below is the description I received about the shoot.

In Service,

Janyn
