Noble Friends of the Arrow,

I just received the Spring 2010 3Rivers catalog on Friday. Lots of
important stuff of interest to fletchers was missing. Among the lost
items were the AAE Fletch III, both oil and water-based arrow stains,
Ace Classic Medieval Points, and Sitka spruce shafting. Strangely, all
of these items are still shown as being available via the on-line
catalog. I don't know if this was just because they didn't want to
feature the items in print, or if they are being discontinued. If you
use any of these items, it might be wise to stockpile now, just in case.

Also, the on-line catalog has for some time offered AGM feathers
(cheaper than Trueflights), which are still not in the print catalog.
Very strange. I noticed 3Rivers' price for cedar shafts is now at about
$30/dozen, despite the Federal excise tax being removed. Ouch!

Fortunately, there are other sources for some of these items, and
sometimes at better prices. Just not as convenient or quick.

If anyone is interested in some other sources I use, please ask and I
will oblige.

In your service, and in service to Atlantian archery,

Lord Mungo Napier, Shire of Isenfir Target Archery Marshal
