As someone who is planning to purchase her first SCA allowable bow later this year, I found your link in Issue 4 back to the bow at 3 Rivers very helpful -- though I'm still unclear as to why it would not count as "period."  Perhaps you could include a wee table with links to various manufactuers and bowyers, and then the category in which the bow would go, and then why it would not be a period bow?  I'd sure hate to buy what I thought was a period bow, only to end up further down the list.
