[Archers] New Archer Names

Waivers
I will re-post the paragraph from the email sent from the Atlantian Seneschal, Corwyn.

First, at events, there have been no changes in archery policy that I know
of. The MoLs office is NOT handling waivers. There is NOT a $1 fee for
handling waivers at events, since you're not filling out an additional
waiver. No changes for SCA events. Zero, zilch, nada, zippo.

At an event we, marshals on the archery field, are not handling waivers nor are we collecting any money. And until further notice that is the way it will be handled.

Names
So far by popular demand you can expect to see on the Royal Round list any name that anyone wishes to use. That name will stay there until, and if, they ever change it. If they only shoot one RR and never come back the name will always be there, wether it be Time Traveler, Conan the Invincible, Betty Boop, etc.

While I agree with the concept that names are a matter of personal
preference and should not be discouraged. I also agree that there should be
directed in the appropriate direction.
The real issue that I am wanting to cover is the "Waiver Policy."
While at events a waiver is signed at troll for non-members, there is
also another waiver needed to be signed at the MoL table and a $1 fee paid
for non-members. The fee is not for Heavy fighters that don't have an
authorization card, the fee is for all non-members wishing to participate in
martial activities. Any need for authorization is in addition to this waiver
fee. All fighters need to be authorized in order to enter the list or even
fight in pick-ups at an event. I have suggested before that maybe we should
have a list sign in at the MoL table and another waiver signed that is
specifically for the Archery activity. After all, it is a martial activity
with a relatively higher possibility of serious injury if an accident
happens (Heavens Forbid). It is sort of a CYOA issue and helps encourage
those that wish to play seriously to take this game we love seriously. If I
made any mistakes or misquotes please verify with the KMoL, but I am sure
that this is the case.
