*This year's le Grand Tournoi d'Amitie Trois will have many "arts et
sciences concours" to choose from. On Saturday, March 31st, let the games
begin!*

*The Baronial Champions for both A&S and bardic will be selected by Their
Excellencies. While these competitions are definitely serious competitions,
there will be no judging sheets. The winners will be selected by the new
Baronage. This gives everyone an opportunity to get feedback without the
stress of being judged!*
*As Poeta Atlantiae, I try to foster the poetic arts wherever I go. In
Windmasters, I found a friend in the new Baroness, **Adriana la Bretonne.
Baroness Adriana is a fan of poetry about courtly love, but enjoys a good
twist...*
*We'll also have a puppet contest for youth and adults alike! Because sock
puppets are fundamental to the new Baronage and an integral part of their
paradigm, we encourage you all to make your best puppet and join in the fun!

*One thing the new Baronage needs is largesse, as gifts for baskets to give
away! Do your best to make some gifts worthy to be given by Baron
**Callixtus
and Baroness Adriana!*

*Baronial A&S Championship Competition*
It is a true honor to be selected as the Windmasters Baronial A&S Champion
and the winner will follow a long and illustrious tradition of excellence!
Any
A&S may be entered into this open A&S competition. Feedback will be given,
but the winner will be selected by the new Baronage. Only members of
Windmasters will be eligible to win this competition, but all are free to
enter. This is a great way to get good feedback without the stress of being
judged.
Documentation is requested (and graded) but not required.

*Baronial Bardic Championship Competition*
With voices, words, songs and odes, the Windmasters Baronial Bard inspires
our warriors in battle and our populace in cheer!
Any type of bardic may be entered into this open competition. Feedback will
be given, but the winner will be selected by the new Baronage. There will
be two rounds. The first round should be inspirational to our warriors. The
second should involve audience participation. Only members of Windmasters
will be eligible to win this competition, but all are free to enter. This
is a great way to get good feedback without the stress of being judged.
Documentation is requested (and graded) but not required.

*Poetry Competition*
To celebrate our new Baroness, a poetry competition is being sponsored....
but with a twist. You may enter any poem dealing with the theme of courtly
love *but*... it must be written as the *opposite *gender! If you're a
lord, write it from the viewpoint of a lady or vice versa. This is a
written competition and performance is required. Documentation is requested
(and graded) but not required.

*Puppets of the State*
As many of you know, the new Baronage campaigned on a pro-'sock puppet'
platform. Obviously, this was well-received by the populace and a
competition will be held to see who can make the best puppet!
*There will be a separate category for children to enter this competition!*

*Largesse*
The new Baronage is calling on its citizens to provide handmade largesse.
This can range from woven trim, viking beads, thank you cards, or anything
else that would make a good gift! These items will be considered donated to
the Barony and will be included in gift baskets that the Barony gives away
or as prizes for future competitions or any other gift giving that needs to
be done. The winner of the competition will receive a gift basket in return!
