*This year's le Grand Tournoi d'Amitie Trois will have many "arts et<br>
sciences concours" to choose from. On Saturday, March 31st, let the games<br>

*The Baronial Champions for both A&S and bardic will be selected by Their<br>
Excellencies. While these competitions are definitely serious competitions,<br>
there will be no judging sheets. The winners will be selected by the new<br>
Baronage. This gives everyone an opportunity to get feedback without the<br>
stress of being judged!*<br>
*As Poeta Atlantiae, I try to foster the poetic arts wherever I go. In<br>
Windmasters, I found a friend in the new Baroness, **Adriana la Bretonne.<br>
Baroness Adriana is a fan of poetry about courtly love, but enjoys a good<br>
twist...*<br>
*We'll also have a puppet contest for youth and adults alike! Because sock<br>
puppets are fundamental to the new Baronage and an integral part of their<br>
paradigm, we encourage you all to make your best puppet and join in the fun!<br>

*One thing the new Baronage needs is largesse, as gifts for baskets to give<br>
away! Do your best to make some gifts worthy to be given by Baron **Callixtus<br>
and Baroness Adriana!*<br>

*Baronial A&S Championship Competition*<br>
It is a true honor to be selected as the Windmasters Baronial A&S Champion<br>
and the winner will follow a long and illustrious tradition of excellence! Any<br>
A&S may be entered into this open A&S competition. Feedback will be given,<br>
but the winner will be selected by the new Baronage. Only members of<br>
Windmasters will be eligible to win this competition, but all are free to<br>
enter. This is a great way to get good feedback without the stress of being<br>
judged.<br>
Documentation is requested (and graded) but not required.<br>

*Baronial Bardic Championship Competition*<br>
With voices, words, songs and odes, the Windmasters Baronial Bard inspires<br>
our warriors in battle and our populace in cheer!<br>
Any type of bardic may be entered into this open competition. Feedback will<br>
be given, but the winner will be selected by the new Baronage. There will<br>
be two rounds. The first round should be inspirational to our warriors. The<br>
second should involve audience participation. Only members of Windmasters<br>
will be eligible to win this competition, but all are free to enter. This<br>
is a great way to get good feedback without the stress of being judged.<br>
Documentation is requested (and graded) but not required.<br>

*Poetry Competition*<br>
To celebrate our new Baroness, a poetry competition is being sponsored....<br>
but with a twist. You may enter any poem dealing with the theme of courtly<br>
love *but*... it must be written as the *opposite *gender! If you're a<br>
lord, write it from the viewpoint of a lady or vice versa. This is a<br>
written competition and performance is required. Documentation is requested<br>
(and graded) but not required.<br>

*Puppets of the State*<br>
As many of you know, the new Baronage campaigned on a pro-'sock puppet'<br>
platform. Obviously, this was well-received by the populace and a<br>
competition will be held to see who can make the best puppet!<br>
*There will be a separate category for children to enter this competition!*<br>
<br>
*Largesse*<br>
The new Baronage is calling on its citizens to provide handmade largesse.<br>
This can range from woven trim, viking beads, thank you cards, or anything<br>
else that would make a good gift! These items will be considered donated to<br>
the Barony and will be included in gift baskets that the Barony gives away<br>
or as prizes for future competitions or any other gift giving that needs to<br>
be done. The winner of the competition will receive a gift basket in return!<br>
Documentation is requested (and graded) but not required.<br>
