[Ponte Alto] Highland River Melees fun

Happy Tuesday Ponte Alto!

We had a fantastic time at HRM this weekend.  There was a lot of pretty
much everything going on: A&S, Archery, Armored melees and Rapier Melees,
Thrown Weapons and tasty feasts.  To top it off, the weather was beautiful,
nice breeze all day and the rain stayed away.

There were a few highlights for the day:
The Baroness authorized for siege weapons.  She also had Her first melee as
a combat archer and even managed to kill the King.

Lady Margaret won the competition arrow in Archery.

Nihani won the poetry competition with her poem "In the Garden of Rose and
Thorn" with the added bonus that it was read aloud in court.  It was really
good.

We hope to see plenty of Pontoons at University this weekend.  It is in
Lynchburg, about 3 hours away, and there are plenty of interesting classes.
