Do you have what it takes to be the Royal Bard of Atlantia? The Atlantian
Book of Law says that a Royal Bard is chosen for their excellence in the
individual performance of any of the following fields: Singing,
Instrumental music, Poetic rendition, Storytelling. The Royal Bard is
encouraged to be proficient in at least two of these fields.

What are you expected to do during your term? Sponsor at least two
competitions, work with branch officers to encourage growth of the bardic
arts, teach classes when appropriate and serve the crown as their bard.

Atlantia is in search of a new Royal Bard. Competition is Saturday, 10
January 2015. *Please try and keep your performance under ten minutes (7 is
better).*

*Round One*: 11:30-1 PM: *Bards Choice* - Please bring your best piece to
perform (story, song, poem). This work must be accompanied by
documentation. Three is the number of copies required for the judges.

*Round Two*:  1:30 - 2:45 PM: *Theme: Processional Song/Poem or Marching to
War Song/Poem*. This does not have to be an original piece, but extra
points will be given for an original piece. Remember that you don't have to
be a musician, filking is quite acceptable. If you write an original piece
please bring us a copy.

*Round Three:* Performing for their Majesties at their whim will be for the
three finalists.
