Hail Atlantia Performers!
All performers are invited to come perform at an All Comers Concert at Ruby
Joust on Saturday night at 9:00pm! Come to the stage at Ruby Joust by
9:00pm on Saturday to enjoy seeing your fellow performers and taking your
few minutes in the spotlight!

We will enjoy a beautiful setting by torchlight and firelight on a stage,
and we will present ourselves a little more formally than the bardic circle
earlier that afternoon (1:00pm - 4:00pm). Please keep your pieces within
the scope of SCA period: either pieces documented to pre-1600 or pieces
with a topic and feel in keeping with a pre-1600 period environment.

Please sign up with me, Sophia the Orange, ahead of time to get a
performance time slot. Send email to dmoas-performance AT
atlantia.sca.org<
http://acorn.atlantia.sca.org/functions/mailto.php?u=dmoas-performance&d=atlantia.sca.org
>
.
You are welcome to sign up on site, at the concert, but your time slot will
be scheduled as best we can at that time. I will be at the stage at 8:30pm
to collect new additions to the schedule.

Please keep your performances to 5 minutes or less. If you have a longer
piece, like many stories can be, let me know and I'll intersperse longer
performances throughout the schedule. If you would like to perform more
than once, let me know and we'll fit in seconds and thirds after everyone
has a turn.

Our very supportive autocrat is working to bring us tiki torches and bales
of hay to sit on, so it should be a comfy evening filled with story and
song! (but if you have a chair you like, I suggest you bring it just in
case.)

*Performing arts classes are also happening at Ruby Joust!*
*Saturday* at noon - Storytelling presented by our pro-storyteller and
Kingdom Bard, Lady Scholastica!

*Sunday*, from 11:00 - 3:00 we have a variety of performing arts classes in
the A&S tent:
Organizing Performing Arts in the SCA, Bardic Circle Best Practices,
Performing and Bardic Roundtable Discussion, and Get Friendly Feedback on
Your Performance. Check the schedule on site for final time slots.

*There is no excuse to be bored at Ruby Joust!* Come join in the singing
and storytelling or sit back and listen to WSCA!

Please do not hesitate to send me email with questions or concerns. With
appropriate application of brain power, smartphones, and duck tape, we can
handle anything! ;)

See you there!
Lady Sophia the Orange
Atlantia KMOAS Deputy for Performing Arts

Greetings all from your Kingdom Chronicler, Mistress Mordeyrn!

I hope all are well on this fine spring morning.

There is a quarterly newsletter for the Archery Community called the
"Quivers and Quarrels." We have had a wonderful editor/Chronicler working
on it but she has had a serious attack of life and needs an immediate
replacement. If you are an Archery enthusiast, and feel as though you could
do this newsletter, please, volunteer for the position. The Q & Q
chronicler is a deputy to the Publications Manager and has a host of people
supplying material for their newsletter. If you feel you would flourish in
this kind of role, please contact Countess Honor of Restormel at
pubmanager at sca.org<mailto:pubmanager at sca.org>. She will gladly answer any
questions you may have about the job.

Have a wonderful day!
In Service to Crown and Kingdom,
Mordrea

Mistress Mordeyrn Tremayne, OP
Kingdom Chronicler, Atlantia
