Ahoy, Pontoons!

As I mentioned to you some two years ago it seems, I am actually/finally
relocating to the NoVA/DC area (now as a recently minted 'we'.) We're
coming in tomorrow for me to begin transitioning off the engagement I've
been on for 18 months and onto my new one, staying (for the moment) through
the 19th (missing the pre-Pennsic Newcomer's meeting next weekend), while my
wife will be job interviewing in Springfield, then returning to Chicagoland
for a bit while we spin up a cross-country move.

I also was anticipating making land grab weekend for the first time in a
long while, if only to help my household out with camp set up, but with the
move coming at this time, even that is still up in the air.

We look forward with great anticipation at getting acquainted with our new
SCA neighbors.

Subject: Upcoming visit

Greetings,

As mentioned a few months ago now, I expect to be relocating to the area. In
pursuit of that impending move, I will be in the area, the week of July 28
(Wednesday, the 28th, through the following Monday [8/2], to be precise)
doing some professional networking, checking out of neighborhoods (MD and
VA), and looking at a potential purchase.

So, while I'm certain many (if not most) will be off to Pennsic by then, I'd
be interested in catching up with those who might not have been lucky enough
to get away to war this year. If anyone's going to be around, or if there's
'stuff a-doing', please do let me know. (Yeah, yeah - I wanted to go to
Pennsic [and it would have no doubt been cheaper], but this had to be
done...)

YIS,
